Version 2.0 Update + 2.2 Teaser

Hello everyone! We are still hard at work on Mecha Drop version 2 here at Bright and Shiny Games, and we want you guys to know what we've got planned.

When Mecha Drop v2 goes live, the game will be all about characters. We have 8 total characters we are developing for version 2: 6 playable characters, 1 tutorial mode character, and 1 last boss character. All characters will have their own backgrounds! In addition, all playable and boss characters in Mecha Drop will have their own unique active and passive abilities.

The new Story Mode will be a tournament style setting where you choose a character and battle through a series of other characters until you beat the game! Beating the game with one character will unlock another.

The current Mecha Drop Play mode will become a Time Attack mode with the addition that you can choose a character for the mode, so you will have the chance to rack up serious points using your abilities if you were having trouble before!

We also have a revamped interface coming in version 2 to support all the content we're adding.

Mecha Drop 2.0 is going to blow you away! Maxell style! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DP89iMe0BY

Last but not least, we decided that after we introduce more characters in version 2.1, we are going to introduce MULTIPLAYER battles over Bluetooth and WiFi in version 2.2! Sorry, GameCenter, you will have to wait another patch. Here at BASGames, we are SUPER STOKED about implementing multiplayer for Mecha Drop. Playing against the computer can get old, but playing against other players never does. Not only that, but few other puzzle games even have this capability.

We are dedicated to making Mecha Drop a unique gameplay experience and absolutely worth your hard earned money!

Version 1.1 submitted!

Here at Bright and Shiny Games, we are super anxious to give our players the best Mecha Drop experience possible.

After version 1.0.2 released yesterday, we immediately jumped on our next version, 1.1. Turns out we were smart about how we built the game and we have already completed and submitted version 1.1 to the app store!

This version turns Mecha Drop into a universal binary. That means you can play Mecha Drop with artwork made for the device you're playing (iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch).

That's going to be it for a while. Our next release is going to be HUGE because that will be our STORY MODE release.

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to the official Mecha Drop Blog! =D

The goal of this blog is to provide our players with news on what we're planning for Mecha Drop, and to allow our players to communicate with us, the developers of the game!

Right now, we're working on getting everything setup to support the game, so please excuse the rocky start!

We have a Facebook page (search for Mecha Drop) in the works, but that is not quite ready yet. In fact, we need your help to get it started. If you could search for us on Facebook and Like us then we would really appreciate it (tell all your friends, too)! We need 25 Likes before we can get our custom Facebook URL. Embarrassing, I know.
